That’s what our founder Shane Crilly was looking for when he founded Base Wood Fired Pizza.

The pursuit of the perfect pizza begun when Shane embarked on a journey to the birthplace of pizza, Naples, in Southern Italy. After learning the art of making a real pizza alongside local Italian cooks, Shane returned to Dublin and set out to improve the standard of pizza in Dublin and to create a pizza that is to inspire healthier choices by offering people real food.

Influenced by traditional Neapolitan cooking methods and inspired by modern flavours we aim to provide our customers with a superior pizza experience. Providing exceptionally tasty food with freshly made seasonal menu and an efficient, professional and hospitable service.
